How ConvertThoseFiles processes files and validates conversion quality.

Browser-first processing

PDF utilities (merge, split, compress, rotate, reorder, extract), image conversions (JPG, PNG, WEBP, compress, resize), OCR (image and PDF), and ZIP extraction execute entirely in your browser using WebAssembly engines. Files are never uploaded.

No server-side conversions

Every tool runs locally in your browser. ConvertThoseFiles does not use any server-side or third-party conversion services, so your files are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

Quality controls

• Each conversion engine is tested against a representative format corpus.
• Outputs are validated for format correctness before being returned to the user.
• Errors are surfaced clearly — partial or silently-failed conversions are not allowed.
