Unsupported File Policy

What happens when you upload a format or feature we don't support yet.

Last updated: June 29, 2026

How we respond

If you upload a file the selected tool does not support, the conversion is rejected and a clear error is displayed. No partial or silently failed output is returned.

What is typically unsupported

  • Proprietary or legacy formats outside the documented list.
  • Encrypted files without the required password.
  • Corrupt or truncated files that fail validation.
  • Files exceeding the documented size limits.

Requesting new format support

Email support@convertthosefiles.com with the format name, expected source/target pair, and a brief description of your use case. Requests inform our roadmap prioritization.
