Password-Protected File Policy

What we will — and will not — do with encrypted or password-locked files.

Last updated: June 29, 2026

What we support

For certain tools (such as PDF unlock), you may provide the password for a file you own to allow conversion. Any password you enter is used only for the duration of the requested operation and is never stored.

What we do not do

  • We do not attempt to bypass, crack, or brute-force encryption.
  • We do not retain passwords beyond the immediate operation.
  • We do not unlock files for which the user has not provided the password.

User responsibility

You confirm that you are the rightful owner — or have authorization from the owner — of any password-protected file you submit. Submitting unauthorized files is a violation of our Terms of Use.
